Tembe Art Studio Residency

The Tembe Art Studio in Moengo offers visual artists the opportunity to develop and exhibit their work in a unique cultural context. The 3-month residency is supported with €9,222 funding (10% personal contribution required). Artists work closely with the local community, organize at least two workshops per week, and create an artwork for public space. The programme combines artistic development with cultural and economic development of the Marowijne region and contributes to the creation of an international sculpture garden.
