Artica Svalbard Residency

The Artica Svalbard Residency is one of Norway's leading not-for-profit residency foundations, based in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. It provides a unique environment for artistic research and creative expression, encouraging artists to challenge existing perceptions of the Arctic. Visual and performance-based artists interested in polar regions and global issues are invited to apply. Selected residents will receive funding to support travel, accommodation, and a stipend to cover living expenses. The residency offers workspace and access to resources to help develop and refine projects while engaging with the unique environment of Svalbard. Artists are encouraged to share their work through talks, presentations, or workshops with the local community in Longyearbyen.
