Bi-national supervised doctoral degrees / Cotutelle

The DAAD programme supports doctoral candidates and young researchers whose doctoral degrees are jointly supervised by a university teacher at their home institution and an academic advisor at a German university (cotutelle model). The scholarship is open to various disciplines including languages and cultural studies, law, economics and social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences, human medicine, veterinary medicine, agricultural, forest and nutritional sciences, ecology, engineering, and art, music and sport. Funding is restricted to certain countries.
