Funding of the Film and Media Foundation NRW

The Film and Media Foundation NRW is one of Germany's strongest regional film funding institutions, distributing an average of 40 million euros annually. It supports a broad spectrum: feature films, documentaries, animations, TV productions, innovative media formats, games, as well as projects in screenwriting, development, distribution and sales. Festivals and events can also be supported. Funding is project-based, and applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis.
