Federal film funding for culture based on jury decisions

This funding supports the artistic quality and innovative strength of German cinema through jury-based decisions. Development funding (treatment, screenplay, project development), production funding (feature films, documentaries, children's films, short films) and distribution funding are supported. Production companies and other film industry stakeholders are eligible to apply. The funding targets films with significant German cultural character intended for public screening in German cinemas and emphasizing artistic film expression.
