Linen Stewards - Sustainable flax cultivation and linen production

Linen Stewards is a hands-on project exploring sustainable local production and value chains for flax and linen. As a Linen Steward, you participate for one year (February 2026 – January 2027) in all process steps under expert guidance: from flax seed through fiber production to diverse end products. You work in a diverse group through 10 collective work sessions on the field in Heule, Kortrijk, develop your own project based on your background, and present your results in a group exhibition at year's end. The project offers access to a broad network, coaching from experienced professionals, and deep insights into sustainable design practices and textile chain transformation.
