Ngā Taonga Toi a Te Waka Toi (Te Waka Toi Awards)

Annual national awards honouring outstanding artistic excellence and the contribution of Māori artists to ngā toi Māori in Aotearoa New Zealand. The awards comprise several categories, including a leadership and innovation award, an emerging artist award, an award for deaf/blind/disabled Māori artists, and non-public nomination awards for outstanding achievement and lifetime contribution; winners receive cash prizes and are announced annually.
