Scholarship in the artist village

Künstler*dorf awards residency stipends to professional visual artists, authors, composers and collectives. The stipend is €1,500 per month (minus €100–200 for rent and operating costs); for collectives €1,000 per person, maximum €3,000. Residencies last 2 to 6 months with mandatory on-site presence. Stipendees use the facility's infrastructure and are invited to actively participate in events and collegial exchange. Selection is based on quality of previous work, plausibility of the proposed project, and community engagement.
