SZBA Translation Grant

The "Cities of Refuge" program is part of the international ICORN network and offers persecuted writers the opportunity to find refuge in Frankfurt am Main for a period of up to two years. The Frankfurt Book Fair finances a monthly stipend of 1,000 euros, while the City of Frankfurt provides housing and covers health insurance. Guest writers are selected through nominations by PEN International. The program is jointly supported by the Cultural Office of the City of Frankfurt am Main, the Frankfurt Book Fair, and Litprom e.V.
