Eurimages – European Film Fund (Council of Europe)

The European film fund Eurimages was established in 1989 as a partial agreement of the Council of Europe. It mainly supports the production of feature, documentary, and animation films intended for cinema release and structured as co-productions between at least 2 member countries; it also supports the distribution of European cinema films, the digitization of films it has funded, and cinemas in countries without access to the EU's MEDIA programme.
