Martin Roth Initiative: Temporary Relocation to Germany for Artists and Cultural Actors at Risk 2026

The Martin Roth Initiative enables artists and cultural actors at risk to temporarily relocate to Germany with support from a host cultural institution. The programme provides monthly scholarships for up to 15 months plus comprehensive support measures: individual assistance (insurance, psychosocial support, language courses, trainings, networking), financial support for additional personnel at the host organisation if needed, counselling and training by the MRI, and visa process support. Applications are submitted jointly by artists and host organisations through the MRI platform.
